CCABC Fundraising Updates

December 2025 Fundraising Update
Wow! We’ve come a long way in our fundraising since we first began! And this past month, we had our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year- Showcase! Because of the variety of efforts we had ongoing this month, we brought in $11,215.04. Are you ready for the awesome news? With all of the connections, donations, effort, and blessings at work, we have met our goal of $25,000! We have fundraised a total of $25,115.42. But we can’t stop now, we have more to accomplish! And keep in mind that just because we brought in that amount, doesn’t mean that’s the amount we have, as we have various expenses including the many costs we had for the Capital Cheer Showcase.
Membership Dues
Before Showcase, we reached out to let the families who had not yet paid their mandatory Capital Cheer All Stars Booster Club dues. We wanted to make sure your families got in free to Showcase and our other events. Because of these efforts, 13 families joined the Booster Club, bringing $1,300.

There are still a few families who haven’t paid yet, and they can do so by visiting: https://www.capitalcheerabc.com/join-today.
Business Partnerships
Another month means another restaurant night! This month, we partnered with Burgers Grilled Right, who offered 10% of our sales to us. We haven’t heard back from Burgers Grilled Right yet, so we will report what we earned from this event.

We also earned $50.04 via our partnership with Tom’s Travelin’ Coffee Truck.

We also received a donation of ice and chocolate chip cookies from Chick-fil-A, which helped bring in funds during Showcase. See that update below.

If you have ideas for other partnerships, let us know and check out our partner page to see CCABC’s partners so far this season.
Corporate Sponsorships
Does anyone need to buy or sell a home? You should consider Pat Fales and Pam Morgan Associates with ReMax Allegiance, because they considered us! They selected our gold sponsorship, which brought us $1,000.

See this year's sponsors. If you know of anyone with a businesses that would like a chance to sponsor our kids, reach out to Erin Policastro at vicepresident@capitalcheerabc.com, who can share more about the benefits beyond deductions at tax time.
Product Sales
In advance of and at the Showcase, the Booster Club sold merchandise like Tshirts, pom poms, car magnets, pins, keychains, and bows. In addition, we sold concessions at the Showcase event. If you missed out on any of the items sold there, you can still buy some of the items in time for the holidays.

Food sales included pizza from Paisano’s, who cut us a deal for the order, and snacks. In addition, Le Refuge sold adorable cookies with our teams’ logos on them! We sold waters, canned sodas, and specialty dirty soda drinks—the Capital Crush and the Hit Zero— which were wildly popular!
We sold 50-50 raffle tickets and tickets to win a turkey.

All of these product sales helped us earn $7,266 at Showcase!
Ticket Sales
We charged for tickets to Showcase for attendees who were not Booster Club members. Tickets purchased in advance to November 10th cost for $10/adults and $5/kids. After November 9th, ticket prices doubled. While tickets for most of the Showcase attendees were free (our Capital Cheer families thanks to Booster Club membership fees), ticket sales for this successful event still brought in $1,600 this month. Thanks to everyone who invited friends, extended family, teachers, neighbors, etc.

November 2025 Update
Our fundraising efforts continue to pay off, with an additional $2,940 going into our budget this month. This addition brings us to a total of $13,900.38, which means we are over halfway there. Because of these contributions, we have been/will be able to:
-
host activities like Bingo Night for free!
-
hold events like the Capital Cheer Showcase and eventually the End of Year Banquet.
-
support the Big/Lil Reveal Event for the Team Up Program.
-
bring some big names to the gym to bolster our training
So every amount matters!
Membership Dues
We only have a few Capital families who have yet to pay their annual mandatory Booster Club dues. One family paid their dues this past month, which gave the budget another $100. We understand that some families are currently going without pay, so please know that we understand and support you and your family.
If you know others who don’t receive these emails and want to, encourage them to pay their membership dues for the 2025-26 cheer year.

Business Partnerships
Thanks to Panera Bread, who partnered with us this month for our first restaurant fundraiser. We earned $130 that night. Thanks to those of you who ate and enjoyed Panera that day.
We also hosted:
-
Tea Love Boba for another night, and we earned $65.

October 2025 Update
This month, we are $3,655.38 closer to our $25,000 goal, which means we are almost halfway there! We can’t thank our Capital Cheer families, our partners, and generous sponsors enough for all the help, supplies, and support thus far!
Membership Dues
New cheer families joined CCABC this month! While we already had most Capital families as paid members already, we received $300 in membership fees within the last month. If you have paid your dues, you get email update and newsletters delivered straight to your inbox as a result of your Booster Club dues. If you know others who don’t receive these emails and want to, encourage them to pay their membership dues for the 2025-26 cheer year.

Fundraiser Events
With your help, we held our first big fundraiser event, which was a big success! We washed a lot of cars, have and ton of Our car wash at the Burke Centre Exxon raised $1060. None of it would have been possible without you, your athletes, your donations, and Exxon and Select Auto Imports, who are CCABC partners. Look out for another car wash opportunity to participate in come springtime!
Business Partnerships
This month, we partnered with multiple food/drink trucks that sold shaved ice, boba tea drinks, and more. We raised $29 at our 2.5-hour Kona Ice fundraiser and $84 at our 4-hour Tea Love Boba fundraiser. We also partnered with BSN Sports and received $93.38 toward our fundraising goal.

September 2025 Update
Thanks to Capital Cheer families, our partners, and generous sponsors, we have raised around $8,365 of the $25,000 goal.
Membership Dues
The membership dues for the 2025-26 cheer year are $100/family. Starting the year with membership fees helps offset the cost of doing business as a booster club (insurance, website costs, rentals, sale inventory, insurance, etc.). Most families have paid their dues, bringing in $2,205. If you haven't paid, you can still join CCABC.

Business Partnerships
To kick off the school year, your family and other Capital Gymnastics' families were able to purchase shaved ice treats from the Kona Ice truck. We raised $160 at our first Kona Ice fundraiser.

Corporate Sponsorships
And we have multiple sponsors already this year, who have pledged their support to the tune of $6,000. See this year's sponsors.

Remember, we want to bring in special programming and support our cheer community in a variety of ways, so we need your help to network, staff events, and show up for all the fun!
If you have suggestions for additional fundraisers, potential partners and sponsors, please reach out to info@capitalcheerabc.com.
