My Cheer Journey

I cheered as an All Star cheerleader for 13 years and also cheered on my high school team as well. I was mainly a flyer but also based in high school!  After high school, I began coaching at the age of 18 and have now been coaching for 18 years! It's hard to believe I have now been coaching longer than I was an athlete.

Whether full time as Cheer Director or part-time as coach or participating as an athlete, I have been in cheer in some capacity almost my entire life!

And now, as a mom, I'm getting to experience this sport in a whole new way with Londyn who started this year on Foxtrot!

My Coaching Style

I want my athletes to know I love and care for each of them and want them to be successful. That said, I have high expectations of my athletes and as a result am stern, but I try and coach with respect.

My Tips for Athletes

1. Be confident

2. Practice when you have second thoughts or feel like you are behind

3. Believe and trust in your teammates and coaches
