I started out as a competitive dancer, which I had been doing since the age of 5.  Then, in high school, I began cheering on my school’s sideline and competition teams, where I was a flyer and a back spot. I also served as Captain for my high school team for 2 years. 

I have been coaching middle school, high school, recreation, and All Star cheer for 18 years. Over these years, I have coached at Vienna Youth Incorporated, Thoreau Middle School, James Madison High School, and McLean High School.  But most recently, as Head Coach of the Woodson High School, I took the team to their first ever VA State appearance. They placed 5th! At Infinity All-Stars, I served as cheer coach for levels 1-6, the Dance Director, as well as the Gym Manager.  I have been coaching here at Capital for the past several years.
