Emili Zamfino

"From Capital athlete to Capital coach, I love watching athletes grow — not just in skills, but in confidence — and knowing I had a part in that!"

emiliz@capitalgymnasticsntc.com

Teams: Foxtrot, Charlie, Echo, Zulu, Lima, Delta, Bravo

My Cheer Journey

I began cheer at Capital back in 2005 when I was 11 years old, so this gym is home to me!  I also cheered at another local All Star program for a while and then transitioned to high school cheer at West Springfield High School where I cheered Varsity all 4 years.

I came back to Capital to coach in 2019 after I coached at another program.  This year, I am coaching all Capital Cheer Teams and supporting athletes goals and development through private lessons.

My Coaching Style

Tough love. I have high expectations and push every athlete to reach their full potential, but I do it because I care deeply about their growth.
